A new dive roller coaster claimed to be tallest, fastest and longest is scheduled to open in May 2016.
2. Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Florida
Built near Orlando, Florida in 1971, Magic Kingdom entails classic attractions, fireworks, Disney cartoon characters and musical parades which mesmerize children of all ages. It is film studio cum theme park all situated under one roof at Los Angeles. Some of the features of this park include The wizarding world of Harry Potter, Studio tour, Fast and Furious Supercharged and Special Effects show to name a few. It is rightly known as the “The Entertainment Capital of LA”. It has over 30 stores, 30 dining options, 6 nightclubs and seven-storey IMAX movie theatre.
5. Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Florida
This is one of the four theme parks built at Walt Disney World Resort, Florida. It is one of the largest animal theme parks in the world which provides shelter to more than 300 species of animals with count well above 2000. It has wild Africa Trek which is a 3 hour safari amidst wild animals. The entire park is divided into six themed areas. It is a marine zoological and a theme park situated in Florida. The entire park is divided into areas named “seas” where every sea features a unique theme. It offers 3-D rides and animal exhibits for the visitors. One of the most attractive features of this theme park is Shark Encounter. It is an underwater tunnel which is surrounded by various species of sharks and other venomous fishes. It also carries Sharks Underwater Grill, which is a dining area completely surrounded by exhibit tank.
7. Hershey Park, Pennsylvania
Known to bring the first looping roller coaster on the East coast of America, this park has 70 rides and a water park. And do not forget to eat tons of chocolate made by Hershey and sit on chocolate theme based rides. The unusual feature seen at this park is classification of heights as per the chocolate names produced by the company (Miniatures, Kisses, Reese’s etc.). The entire park is divided into six themed areas.
8. Knott’s Berry Farm, California
It is proudly known as “America’s first theme park” established in the year 1920. The park has 10 roller coasters and 40 rides as well as a water park named “Soak city” which requires separate entry. Some of the delicacies found right here are homemade jams, jellies and preserves. The park is divided into four themed areas.
