Edison’s Home got designated as Edison Home National Historic Site and his laboratory as Edison Laboratory National Monument. Only on March 30, 2009 was the Park renamed as Thomas Edison National Historical Park.
The sculpture Park known as Ground for Sculpture is a 42 acre property located in Hamilton Township, Mercer County. The Ground houses over two hundred and seventy huge exquisite sculptures made by many famous American and International artists. The park also encourages outdoor collections from growing artists and at least fifteen sculptures gets added to the collection every year
Located in Princeton, Mercer County, this is the place where the American and British troop fought each other during the 1777 battle. A portion of the area has been converted and maintained as a park. A tree that witnessed the battle and stood in the middle of the same withstood time till recently. This Park houses the Clarke House Museum apart from the site of the Mercer Oak and the Princeton Battlefield site.
This water centric recreation area enables hikers scan the valley from the ridge and the anglers wade the trout streams. Basically a 70,000 acre Park, this valley is accustomed to human voice and presence for over 10,000 years now. Standing as a testament to the power of flowing water, a 28 Mile trek along the Kittatinny Ridge in the Appalachian Trail is the gift that Delaware endows on mankind.
Located in the middle of Northern New Jersey, Liberty State Park offers a sweeping view of the famous Hudson River. While the Liberty Science Centre dominates the western portion, the Liberty Walk connects to the Picnic area. The Ferry Service to the Ellis Island from the Liberty State Park is a pleasant experience attracting a lot of tourists.
