2. Phu Quoc (Vietnam)

Located in the gulf of Thailand, the Phu Quoc is the largest island of the Vietnam. Vietnam allows all foreign tourists to visit Phu Quoc visa-free for a period of up to 30 days. Tourism plays an important role in the economy with the beaches being the main attraction. The island features pristine tropical forests, undamaged coral reefs and great beaches.

Hoi An is an ancient town of the Vietnam and is world famous for its beautiful and ancient buildings. In 1999, UNESCO declared it as the world heritage site. Hoi An Ancient Town is a well-preserved example of an important South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century.

Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences of both indigenous and foreign, the unique combination of both make this city a world heritage site.

Tourists visit Hoi An have a chance to enjoy many of the exciting activities like motorboat rides, kayak and motorbike rides. The popular trading port city offers distinctive regional cuisines which have an influence of Southeast Asian culture. The city has four museums which highlight the history of the region. These museums display a collection of over 200 artifacts from the Sa Huynh culture and also many trade ceramics.

4. Borobudur, (Indonesia)

Borobudur is a Mahayana Buddhist Temple located in Indonesia. The Temple is decorated with 504 statues of Buddha. Temple is famous because of its ancient architecture. It is the largest temple of Buddhists in the world.

The architecture of the temple is in Stupa style and the temple also demonstrates the influence of Gupta arts that reflects India’s influence on the region.

Besides this, there is an ancient lake, existence of this lake is also a topic of discussion among the people. International tourist’s awards were given to the Borobudur National Park and also the temple was recorded in the Guinness book of world records as the world’s largest archaeological site of Buddhism.

5. Wat Phou (Laos)

Vat Phou is a ruined Khmer Hindu temple in southern Laos. The architecture and structure of the temple was unique. The architecture of the temple reflects influence of traditions of Laos. It is more than 1000 years old temple, which is a worship place of Buddhism, situated on a hillside and offers beautiful views over the surrounding land and the river.

Visitors appreciates the art and history belong to the temple and impressed by magnificent workmanship in this ruined Khmer Hindu temple in the form of pillar, terrace, walls, doorways and libraries.

There is a natural spring that is believed by locals to emit holy water. IN 2002, UNESCO declared it as the world heritage site due to its ancient architecture and impressive history.

6. Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)

9. Bagan (Myanmar)
